e learning
This Fall OSPR is offering a day camp and educational program for those families who need child care while their child's school cohort is not in the classroom for children in grades 1st-4th.  We will have two programs through the month of September, one will meet on Monday and Tuesday and one will meet on Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm at The Rec. Center.
 
In this program, your child will have Internet access and ample time to complete their distant learning schoolwork.  Families will have to provide all technology including headphones.
We will also spend time outside or in the gym and games room playing games and enjoying activities.  These games and activities will be designed to keep your children safe and at a distance from each other.
We will have have a mid morning and late afternoon snack time as well as lunch each day at noon.  Families will have to provide all food and drinks for their child.

Staff and campers will be required to wear masks at all times.
You may only register for one session per week and one week at a time.

Distant Learning
  • Each child will need to bring their own laptop or tablet as well as headphones
  • We will provide only internet access.
  • Our staff will help children with questions as best as they can, however we will not be providing any one on one teaching opportunities.

Snacks and Lunch
  • Parents will need to pack a lunch, beverages and two snacks each day.
  • We will not be providing any meals, snacks or drinks.

Cohorts and Schedule
Cohort 2 - Last Names beginning in LAD - Z
- Tuesday and Wednesday Sept. 1st, 2nd, 8th 9th
- Monday and Tuesday Sept. 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th

Cohort 1 - Last Names beginning in A - LAC
- Thursday and Friday Sept. 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, Oct. 1st, 2nd

COVID-19 Protocols
  • All Staff will wear a mask and proper PPE throughout the day.
  • Children will be required to wear their masks upon arrival and leaving and when indoors.
  • Children must be free from any symptoms of COVID-19 as outlined by C.D.C.
  • If you child is displaying symptoms they will not be allowed to come to camp or return until a negative test result can be provided.
  • Children will be screened daily for signs of distressed health and have their temperature checked upon arrival.
  • Drop off and pick up will be at the Gate Entrance near the Preschool Playground. Parents will not be allowed to enter the Rec. unless by appointment.
  • Rooms, touch points and equipment will be disinfected at the beginning of and throughout the day

Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77 we are required to disclose that our programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.
