Learn how to lead walks in Old Saybrook's town forest. See how the trails connect across three towns. Learn to recognize key landmarks. Meet at 1278 Essex Road in Westbrook for a 3.5 mile walk from The Preserve in Westbrook to The Preserve in Old Saybrook and Essex. Please arrive by 12:45pm for a 1:00pm departure from the parking lot. Wear boots, bring water. Walking sticks are highly recommended. No dogs, please. Children 8 and older welcome. This is a FREE program. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated.

Join us for a leisurely hike as we give you a tour of The Preserve's fabulous old Mountain Laurel groves which hopefully will be in full bloom! Some hills. We will be going off trail a short distance. Please no dogs on this hike. Children with endurance welcomed. Bring water, snacks, tick/bug spray, walking sticks and cameras. Meet at the parking lot across the street from #231 Ingham Hill Road. This is a FREE program. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated.
