Field hockey battle for ball control
This 2-hour skill-building session will focus on understanding the basic concepts and rules of field hockey as well as overall body conditioning in order to play the game. More specifically, girls will work on strengthening their drives, passing to teammates (flat and throughs), enhancing their stick work, and shots on goal. Towards the end of the week, girls will scrimmage with the skills they have learned. Proper mouth guard and shin guards are required. Camp Taught By McKenna Gibson and Wendy Bowden of the University of St. Joeseph's.
