OSPR Teen Center
The Teen Center is a drop-in program at the Recreation Center behind Town Hall and adjacent to the Old Saybrook Middle School.  It is a supervised setting where your child can interact with peers and develop social skills and relationships. We have a wide variety of activities and games available daily. Members are able to use the Teen Center lounge and game tables, the gym, as well as the outside basketball courts and baseball field.

All Members will receive "membership cards" which will be used for signing in/out 

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday: 2:35pm-5:30pm
Friday nights: 7:00pm-9:30pm (No Friday Nights if there is no school)
Half Days (Monday-Thursday): 11:55am-5:30pm

General Information
  • The memberships fee for 6th-8th Grade is $30 for residents and $50 for non-residents for the whole membership year, which is September 3rd - August 26th. Memberships are required for students to attend the Teen Center Monday-Thursday.
  • A signed membership form is required for participation. The membership agreements shall be completed electronically.
  • Students will sign in/out with their membership card. Once a student signs out of the Teen Center, they are unable to return for the rest of the day.
  • Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77 we are required to disclose that our programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.

Friday Night Teen Center
  • Friday nights are free with an active membership. Non-members may attend Friday Nights with a member for a $5 drop-in fee.
  • Students must be picked up by a parent or guardian and cannot walk/bike home unless written permission is submitted to the Teen Center Director.
