5th - 8th Grade - After-School Teen Center
Enjoy “The Rec” after school hanging out with all your friends! Stay active playing basketball, soccer, flag football, and dodgeball games in our gymnasium. Play billiards on our pool table and ping pong in the Teen Center. Relax with games on our XBOX and PS5! Plus, we always have all the latest movies to watch on our big-screen TV. Membership is required to attend.
*FIRST DAY: Monday, August 31st*
5th - 8th Grade - Friday Night Teen Center
5th - 8th graders can enjoy Friday nights in the Teen Center. The Teen Center offers a wide variety of activities to do in a safe, supervised environment. Throughout the year, there will be special events and tournaments such as Dodgeball, Basketball, and Soccer, our Annual Halloween Party, and so much more! Teens sign in when they arrive and are not allowed to leave until a parent/guardian picks them up or provides permission for them to do so.
*FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT: October 2nd*
All Members will receive "membership cards" which will be used for signing in/out
*All members must sign in and out each day*
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday: 2:35pm - 5:30pm
Friday: 2:35pm - 4:00pm
Friday Nights: 6:00pm - 8:30pm (No School = No Friday Nights)
Half Days (Monday - Thursday): 11:55am - 5:30pm, (Friday): 11:55am - 4:00pm
General Information
- A signed membership form is required for participation. The membership agreements shall be completed electronically.
- Students will sign in/out with their membership card. Once a student signs out of the Teen Center, they are unable to return for the rest of the day.
- Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77 we are required to disclose that our programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.
Friday Night Teen Center
- Friday nights are free with an active membership. Non-members may attend Friday Night Teen Center for a $5 fee.
- Students must be picked up by a parent or guardian and cannot walk/bike home unless written permission is submitted to the Teen Center Director.
