Welcome to the Teen Center
Our drop in style, afterschool program runs Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm to 5:30pm for all 6th-8th graders.  This staffed program will give your child access to the Teen Center and all its entertainment, the gym and the blacktop outside the Rec.  With this program you will also have the opportunity to attend our Friday Night Teen Center program which starts at 7:00pm and runs to 9:30pm each week during the school year.

General Information
  • Full Membership allows student to attend the Rec Mon-Thurs 2:30-5:30 and Friday nights 7:00-9:30pm until Aug 2021
  • On half days, the teen center will open from 12:00-5:30pm
  • If your child doesn't have a Membership, they can't attend the Rec afterschool
  • The Teen Center Monday-Thursday are drop in hours, they must present themselves to our staff member to sign in/out each day. It's important that members make themselves present. Once they sign out, they can't return to the Rec for the rest of the day.
  • Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77 we are required to disclose that our programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.

Friday Night Teen Center
  • All members are free to attend.
  • Guests may pay $5.00 per night to attend.
  • All members are required to wear a mask inside.
